'I Was Researching Film
Role' Says John Leslie
Beleaguered British TV presenter
John Leslie has at last spoken out about the
rape allegations that have threatened
to end his career.
In an exclusive interview he told
urbanreflex.com: "These allegations are totally
ridiculous. I am utterly, utterly
disgusted by some of the things that have
printed about me. It's a disgrace."
Leslie (Urbanreflex.com would
like to make clear that this picture of John Leslie
just happens to the very first
one we found. It is not in any way meant to
imply that Leslie is of dubious
character or in any way suspicious)
Leslie told us: "I remember the night
in question and the truth is, at the time, I
was up for a part in a film in which
I had to play a lecher who likes to force
women to have sex. So obviously,
to understand the character, I started
behaving like a lecher who forced
women to have sex. I explained this to Ulrika
and the other twenty or so women
that I was having relationships with at the
time."
In response to recent pictures showing
him apparently snorting cocaine,
Leslie responded: "Yes, that was
in the script too."
Leslie refused to name the film he
was rehearsing for, but claims that after 12
years of thorough research, he should
now get the part.
He said: "If the last few weeks have
proved anything, it's that I'm the right
man for the job. So guys, if you're
reading this, please contact my agent."
John Noakes was unavailable for comment.
