Anti-matter Leak At Research
Lab Contaminates Minus 200 Sq. Miles Of Woodland
Authorities in Switzerland have confirmed
that a major leak of newly discovered
anti-matter occurred at a research
laboratory near Geneva on Wednesday
causing -200 square miles of the
surrounding area to be contaminated.
Over 8000 non-local residents had
to be moved into the affected area as a
result of the leak. As yet, scientists
do not know when it will be safe for them
to leave.
Safety at the facility has been under
scrutiny since an earlier leak in which -2
scientists were exposed to anti-matter
and were not fully decontaminated until
several days before the incident
occurred.
Experts now hope the anti-matter
will spread as far as possible. Head of research
Alain Levert told reporters: "We
are confident we will be able to not contain the
leak."
"Otherwise, we are screwed," he warned.
