Jonathan
King Jailed For Sex Offences: 'Get Perverts Out Of Pop' Say Young, Semi-Naked
Pop Stars
The conviction of record producer
and TV presenter Jonathan King for sexual
offences against young boys has
prompted a group of young, partially clothed
pop stars to launch a campaign to
'kick perverts out of pop.'
"We want to clean up the industry
once and for all," said campaign spokesman
Adam Rickett. He then took off his
shirt and asked an assembled group of
young fans if they wanted to 'get
it on' with him.
Rickett: Addressing reporters yesterday
The campaign aims to rid the pop
industry of its reputation for sexually
exploiting young people.
"We are against dirty, old men seeing
young people as sexual objects," said
Hannah from S Club 7, dressed in
a bikini. "We all think it's disgusting and
we're here to do something about
it."
Hannah: Disgusted
The campaign has also gained support
from Britney Spears. Addressing
reporters via satellite link, Spears,
dressed in a school uniform, called for "zero
tolerance of nasty guys who wanna
do nasty things to young kids. It's, like,
totally unacceptable."

A special awareness-raising concert
is expected to be held early next year with
a possible guest appearance by Michael
Jackson, another keen supporter of
the campaign:
"We must protect young kids," he
told reporters. "I love protecting young kids.
I would protect them all day, every
day, if I could."
Bill Wyman was unavailable for comment.
