Chris Evans And Billie Piper Threaten To Create 'Baby' By End Of Year

Despite strong criticism from scientists and religious leaders, Chris Evans and
Billie Piper have announced plans to create a human 'baby' by the end of this
year.

The pair told reporters they consider it an important advance in the
development of their relationship but many experts consider it a dangerous
move that may have dire consequences for mankind.

"There is no way of telling what might happen," said Campaign for Human
Decency spokeswoman Bella Smith. "The results could be catastrophic. I
mean, look at him."

To produce the Evans-Piper hybrid, DNA from the father in the form of sperm
will have to be combined with DNA from the mother in the form of an egg. The
baby will then be grown inside the mother's body for nine months before it is
taken out in a process known as 'birth'.

The law as it stands is powerless to prevent this procedure from taking place.

  Evans: 'Sperm'-----------------  Billie Piper: 'Eggs'

"Creating the baby is just the first step," warned Smith. "After that, we may
see photo spreads in Hello! magazine and constant press coverage for years
to come. It's a Pandora's box."

Religious figures also condemned the move: "It is an abhorrence and an affront
to nature," said the Archbishop of Canterbury. "Celebrities like these two
should not be allowed to reproduce. I can see no benefit to society whatsoever."

Friends of the Earth are rumoured to be planning to disrupt the conception,
although details of the copulation have so far been kept secret.

Danny Baker was unavailable for comment.
